OverviewMaintenance Electrical Technician role at Serioplast, a global leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, based in Ingleburn, NSW, Australia.
We're seeking an experienced technician to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.What will you do?
Ensure production continuity through the correct maintenance of machines, equipment, and facilities in compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards and proceduresCarry out the electrical installation and setup of machines and equipment (compressors, air conditioning, driers, leak test, cameras, palletizers, etc.)Carry out regular inspections on machines, equipment, and facilities, checking relevant parameters and meter readings; detect and replace worn-out parts, and timely submit requests for necessary spare parts or supplier's technical support to the Technical ManagerPerform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment according to the maintenance planPerform emergency repairs in case of breakdowns, halts, or failures and ensure machines and equipment functionality is fully restoredSupport inspections, servicing, and maintenance activities by external suppliersKeep records of maintenance activities to track the lifespan of equipment and spare partsOrganize and manage the workshop, repair and fabricate mechanical and other parts using workshop tools and equipmentSupport the Technical Manager in improvement projects and decisions on machines, equipment, molds, and processesQualificationsExcellent applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and/or electronic systemsGood knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM)Good applied knowledge of WCM standardsBasic knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment rules and practicesAbility to operate manual and electric forkliftsMinimum 3 years of experience in the maintenance department in a manufacturing companyWhat we offerContinuous training: Grow professionally by working alongside industry expertsDynamic and international environment: Join a team engaged in global projectsCareer growth opportunities in an industry-leading companyInternal mobility: Opportunities for job rotation and career progressionPrivacy and equal opportunityUpon sending their application, the candidate grants specific consent to the processing of personal data, in accordance with current legislation on privacy.
