**The Role**

Seeking a Payroll Officer to join our agile and dynamic payroll team in our Subiaco Head Office.

This position is responsible for performing all activities necessary to process end-to-end payroll, including maintaining related records. We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail and is flexible and proactive in their work style.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Preparing and processing accurate payroll processes using PayGlobal (end-to-end payroll).
- Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining database with updates/changes.
- Maintain employee records for new hires, pay changes, and terminations.
- Review timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- Prepare end-of-month reporting and compliances.
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll process and operations.
- Liaise with and support the HR and Finance teams.
- Work closely with Payroll Manager to improve data capture and processing efficiencies within payroll.

**The successful applicant will ideally have**:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience in Payroll Processing
- Experience with PayGlobal (not essential)
- Experience working with Enterprise Agreements is an advantage
- Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork
- A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
