Company :Hastings Deering (Australia) LtdPurposeThis role primarily exists to provide application advice and support to internal and external customers to provide the lowest cost per unit Caterpillar mining equipment solutions including surface and hard rock underground operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide assistance to the relevant staff members to assist with machine selection, application, tenders and product marketing strategiesLiaise with Caterpillar product specialists and Caterpillar's Dealer Service Network re application and performance related sales support as required by the sales teamIdentify and advise suitable equipment application and selection utilising modelling toolsMaintain a current and effective central sales support library and associated data base on both Caterpillar and competitive machinesCarry out site mining equipment application studies where required & compile reports targeting key elements of the mining operations including technology solutionsAssist with tender / quotation submission preparation with respect to selection, application & selection of appropriate locally installed optionsAbout YouRelevant level of experience in a similar role within the mining or heavy machinery industryRelevant level of experience in equipment application methodologies with base knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulationsQualification in Engineering - Mechanical/Mining or related industry experienceThis role is currently open to Hastings Deering internal employees only.
