What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and process driven Vehicle Logistics Analyst to join our growing supply chain team. In the Logistics Analyst role, you will manage critical domestic and international shipments to support Tesla's vehicle distribution. In addition, you will provide detailed data analysis to identify cost effective, efficient, timely and high-quality logistics solutions in the AU/NZ.

What You'll Do
- Coordinate import/export of goods within the region
- Manage a team consisting of permanent and casual staff
- Work within a Transport Management System to book daily vehicle transport and maintain data integrity daily
- Undertake detailed and thorough logistics analysis and identify opportunities to aid efficiency and cost optimisation through evaluation of data
- Produce and follow forecasts to aid financially sound decisions while maximising efficiencies
- Set up and provide regular reports and data relating to specific areas of the logistics process such as supplier analysis, transportation costs
- Maintain close communication with a network of 2PL & 3PL providers in the region
- Problem solve and be able to escalate priority issues
- Provide back up to other logistics roles within the region
- inc. Yard Coordinator role
- Process and correct miscellaneous invoicing/payment issues
- Develop collaborative relationships and communicate relevant information across all levels of the organisation

What You'll Bring
- High attention to detail and analytic skills
- Knowledge of freight forwarding / international freight processes and Incoterms preferred
- Microsoft office suite basics (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Valid driver's license with minimum two years' driving experience
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel if/when needed
- Computer-savvy with an ability to work with in-house logistics software(s)
