Overview Maven Dental Cairns City has a Casual Receptionist position available at our large city practice.
We are a 6-chair practice with a general anaesthetic facility operating weekly.The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a dental assistant or dental receptionist.
Experience with D4W software and basic knowledge of Microsoft applications is required.
Responsibilities As our Dental Receptionist, you'll be the friendly face that greets our patients and the organizational whiz behind our smooth operations.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:Welcoming and assisting patients with a warm, professional demeanorScheduling appointments and managing the appointment book efficientlyHandling patient records with accuracy and confidentialityCoordinating with the dental team to ensure seamless patient careManaging patient inquiries both in person and over the phoneThere will be an aspect of dental assisting, on an ad hoc basis as needed.
Qualifications Have a minimum of 2years' experience working as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist.Certificate III in Dental Assisting is advantageous.Experience in D4W software and basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Experience with file keeping and data entry.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
