The Manager, Data and Digital Integration manages the design and delivery of data dashboard interfaces, visualisations and analytic solutions for the department's flagship websites and key digital assets. The role ensures delivery and maintenance of integrated data analytics and digital communications products, services, and solutions to:

- make digital journeys for users seamless, simple, fast, direct, secure and effective
- enable the department to achieve its strategic objectives, and
- ensure data security specifications are met.

The role provides advice on architectural design, risk identification and mitigation planning for new and existing system and data integrations.
The Manager leads a team that develops and constructs data products, visualisations and services to meet business needs. It works closely with the Insights and Analytics Team and Department Business Units to capture, integrate and visualise data to improve customer experience of digital journeys and the effectiveness of strategic and tactical communications, marketing and engagement efforts.
This role may also be required to provide support to other teams across the Branch, including participating in out of hours rosters, providing support for public emergencies, large-scale communications campaigns and other high priority projects.
Accountabilities
- Implement high quality data and digital solutions that provide best practice user experience and engagement across a wide range of devices and services.
- Lead the development of data and digital solutions to inform and enable marketing initiatives aligned to the department's strategic narrative and objectives.
- Lead the development and delivery of leading-edge data visualisations, driving innovation and data transparency.
- Lead the development of and enforce effective data management and security policies.
- Engage with internal/external stakeholders and suppliers, including those developing data solutions, to resolve queries and build effective working relationships at all levels.
