**Background**

Our client is a highly-regarded international law firm that is looking to recruit a talented mid-level lawyer into their collegial dispute resolution team in Sydney.

**Dispute Resolution team**

The firm's Dispute Resolution & Litigation Group have experience in both Australian and international disputes spanning a wide range of sectors and are particularly recognised for their niche strength in handling disputes in the energy and resources, regulated and media & technology sectors.

In addition, they have a leading reputation and extensive experience in defamation and intellectual property related litigation.

**Position Description**

Currently there is a rare opportunity for an excellent mid-level
**Lawyer** or
**Associate** with commercial litigation experience to join the firm.

This role will see you working closely under a specialist partner within the team, and provide you with access to a sophisticated client base and exposure to a range of interesting matters.

You can expect to be involved in a range of disputes matters including those relating to:

- contract and commercial law;
- intellectual property and technology issues;
- corporate regulatory matters and investigations; and
- media and communications issues.

**Key Requirements**

**2 to 4 years'**
**post admission experience** from another highly regarded litigation practice, ideally within the Australian market.

In addition, you will have:

- a strong academic background from a reputable university;
- excellent drafting skills with a high level of attention to detail;
- a proven ability to prioritise multiple tasks; and
- a client oriented approach with well-developed ability to understand and recognise client needs.
