We are seeking to engage skilled professionals with Defence or Defence industry experience to join our permanent workforce and support complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future.Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence.
Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.We're interested in hearing from professionals with experience aligned with the below roles:Project Support OfficersBusiness Support OfficersProject ManagersProgram ManagersDelivery ManagersSchedulersWhat You'll BringPrevious experience ideally within the Defence or consulting services industries.Proven experience working in Land, Communications, Navy, Space or other Defence sectorsStrong experience delivering or supporting complex Defence Acquisition or Sustainment projects within CASGExperience supporting or delivering end to end projects and managing various facets of a projectExperience working with project management tools and project management certifications and accreditations will be highly preferredStrong written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder management across different teamsDue to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
