A professional and loving family who are relocating to the South Yarra Area of Melbourne, VIC are seeking a highly experienced and responsible career nanny.

The nanny will be responsible to care their little boy (6months old) from 8:00AM to 4:00PM each day, and also the eldest child as well (3yr old girl) from 4:00PM - 6:00PM.

Note: The 3yr old girl will be at ELC 3 days per week and have her own nanny when not at school (who works 6:00AM - 4:00PM).

**The days and normal hours are - 5 days per week**

Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm

If willing, the family will value someone who could occasionally do evenings / weekends / overnights.

The family are seeking a nanny who is engaging, fun to be around but also nurturing, calm and patient.

A nanny who can structure their day, be independent, design new routines and provide fun, creative and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities that will assist in the child's development. Looking for a nanny that genuinely loves their job as a career nanny and is able to provide expectational care and support for the family.

A nanny who also values children's safety, trustworthy, reliable, punctual, adaptive, can problem solve, communicate and able to form a special bond with the whole family and stay on a long-term basis.

**The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To care for the children
- Follow the children's routine
- Play and engage with the children
- Take the baby to activities, i.e. playground, walks and to the park/playgrounds
- Help prep/cook meals for the baby and introduce to solids
- Homework assistance for the 3yr old.

**The family's expectations from their nanny are -**
- Must have a minimum of 5+ years nanny or childcare experience
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current Working with Children's Check
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Child safety practices
- Basic knowledge of food prep /cooking meals
