We're looking for Animal Attendants to join our talented and growing, dynamic team at Chatswood Vetfriends on a casual basis.Vetfriends Chatswood is a purpose-built clinic, which opened its doors in 2005.
Our focus is to improve our patients' quality of life by providing gold-standard care, with the latest knowledge and equipment, whilst keeping our clients educated about their pets' health through effective and personable communication.
We have a loyal, returning client base with beautiful patients, many of whom are insured, and we work closely with surrounding specialist hospitals.

We are a gold-certified cat-friendly clinic with a separate cat waiting area/cat consult room/cat ward/cat boarding, and we have a key focus on our feline & rabbit friends
What We're Looking For Ideally a qualified Cert II or equivalent Animal Attendant/Junior Nurse1+ years' experience in handling primarily cats & dogsCaring and dedicated individual with an interest in gaining experience with companion animals.Experience working with & caring for boarding animals.A positive attitude, a real team player and excellent communication skills.A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to providing the best service to our clients and their pets.About The RoleHusbandry of hospitalised and boarding cats and dogsAssisting vets and nurses with handling/restraining animalsBoarding duties (walking dogs, feeding cats & dogs, cleaning tasks)General housekeeping tasksSimple reception tasks (training provided)Benefits of Joining UsWe can offer a great work-life balance with a flexible roster and various shift times available between 8am and 6pm Monday-FridayOur clinic has no OOH, we are currently closed at weekends and public holiday's but we may have weekends available in the futureThe pay rate is reflective of your skills and experience.Work with a new team, a fresh environment and have fun along the wayPotential for career growth and access to all employee benefits as a permanent staff member for the right person
