The Principal Technology Services Officer is responsible for providing proactive advice and operational support in relation to the Information Communication Technology (ICT) and information management team.

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Support the delivery of fit-for-purpose ICT and information management capability by providing expert advice and recommendations on the procurement, implementation, and maintenance of ICT infrastructure, systems, and software.
- Coordinate the procurement, implementation, and maintenance of the ICT infrastructure, systems, software, services, and licences.
- Provide customer-focussed ICT support to internal stakeholders, in addition to expert advice on information management and forensic data extraction.
- Coordinate projects related to ICT and information management systems.
- Proactively manage contracts with external service providers and vendors to meet defined service levels.

Essential experience:

- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) methodology
- Prince2 project management methodology
- Microsoft Azure AD, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online
- Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Microsoft 365 Defender
- Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop
- Microsoft Windows Server 2016 / 2019
- Microsoft SQL Server 2016 / 2019
- Active Directory, Domain Name Server, Group Policy Object
- Service management tools such as Jira Service Desk or ServiceNow
- SaaS printing solutions
- PowerShell or other scripting
