You'll drive and support media relations efforts, content creation, campaign delivery and storytelling.
You'll need to be a natural communicator: proactive, organised and confident juggling competing priorities, and importantly, be a strong writer who can extract the strongest story from a high volume of content, and remix it to share across different channels and audiences.Key responsibilities:Media and communications strategySupport the PR Lead in delivering the Sydney studio's earned media and communications programHelp uncover, shape and pitch compelling stories from across the practice to media across diverse verticalsAssist in the delivery of proactive media campaigns, including building media lists, tracking media coverage and maintaining strong journalist relationshipsContribute to the planning and execution of communications projects, including major design announcements, events, publications and milestonesReview media coverage and share relevant articles and insights with internal stakeholders; provide regular reporting on performanceContent creation and adaptationDraft and adapt content for a range of formats: press releases, website copy, social media, interview briefs and award entriesDevelop engaging day-to-day social media content for platforms like Instagram and LinkedInLiaise with internal project teams to gather information, source imagery and shape compelling contentInternal collaboration and relationship buildingBuild strong relationships with internal teams to uncover surprising, meaningful stories from across the practiceCollaborate with project teams to ensure stories are authentic, well-informed and aligned with the studio's voice and strategySocial media knowledgeDemonstrate a deep understanding of social media platforms, current trends and what makes content resonateMonitor media and cultural trends, bringing fresh, relevant ideas into the mixAbout youAround 3-4 years' experience in PR and communications, experience working in agencies, or in architecture and design is a bonusDeep understanding of the media landscape, including crafting, pitching, and managing story development with journalistsStrong media relationships across news, business, lifestyle, architecture, design and cultural sectorsConfident in developing and rolling out integrated communications plans, hosting media interviews, briefing senior spokespeopleExceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt content across media, digital, and internal platformsHighly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasksSelf-starter with strong initiative and a proactive, solutions-focused mindsetPositive, collaborative, and excited to grow your career in a purpose-driven, creative environmentBachelor's degree in Communications or related fieldIf you are driven, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to meaningful and high-impact projects, we invite you to apply.
