Design Assistant - Witchery (Accessories)Apply now Job no: 999667Work type: Full-TimeLocation: Melbourne - CBD & InnerCategories: Design & DevelopmentPurposeAn exciting opportunity for a Design Assistant to join the Witchery Accessories team, supporting the design team with product samples, administration, fit, storyboards and range concepts, ensuring the quality is maintained through the development and production stages.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with the Accessories design team to develop range conceptsAttend all fit meetings and other associated meetings which will impact upon the range developmentAssist with researching seasonal trends, fabrication & key ideas in line with Witchery's design aestheticAssist in preparation of presentations, fit sessions for internal & external key stakeholdersPrepare and maintain range boardsCreate & update technical sketches using Adobe IllustratorAssist with sourcing aligned with seasonal trends and direction in collaboration with Designer, Buyer and Product DeveloperCompletion of monthly product care and details guide provided by Ecommerce teamAssist with adhoc projects, sample management, research & team tasks when requiredLiaise with the suppliers to monitor the development process.Key CapabilitiesA tertiary qualification in Fashion or Textiles is preferredExperience with illustration software packagesExperience having worked in a similar design led role in a fashion business would be beneficialExcellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships internally and externally across the businessExcellent attention to detailWorking well within a team.Why work for CRG?
