Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.Using 100% Australian made steel in the manufacturing process, you'll be key to providing customers with what they need, when they need it.

What Will You Do?
RoleIn this hands-on leadership role, you'll keep schedules on track, support your team across varied tasks, and ensure safety remains the top priority.
You will:lead and supervise the operations area, including production scheduling, machine operation, and trainingperform warehousing functions such as goods receipting, order consolidation, despatch, and stock controloversee the despatch of product, ensuring compliance with safe load practices and conducting audits as requiredsupport and assist your team with daily operational activitiesinitiate and lead site improvement projects to enhance efficiency and performanceliaise with third-party maintenance providers to manage regular maintenance and address breakdownsidentify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and risk mitigation, striving for on-time delivery for our customerschampion evolving safety standards, driving change when risks or opportunities are identifiedgrow and mentor your team, developing technical capabilities and cross-skilling team membersMore About YouBeing a reliable and dedicated individual with a willingness to learn and develop yourself, you will also bring:exposure in working in a manufacturing environmentproven experience in managing operational departments and managing safetyexperience in project executiona positive attitude and a keen eye for detailthe ability to work in a fast-paced environmentWhy BlueScopeAs We're Creating Strength For The Future Through Our People, Products And Solutions, BlueScope Supports You To Build Your Expertise Within a Safe And Positive Team Environment.
