**Job Description**:
**About the role and what you will do**

As the FP&A Analyst, you will provide effective finance business partnering support to Finance and Operational stakeholders, and play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation through providing meaningful analysis and insights. Focusing on overheads, investment spend and new business metrics, you will engage with all levels of stakeholders in Australia and relevant stakeholders in the US. Reporting to Head of FP&A and Transformation Australia, this role is responsible for the integrity, timeliness and accuracy of Leidos Australia performance reporting, in relation to indirect spend and new business metrics

A key to success in this role will be the ability to communicate effectively to all levels within the stakeholder group. You will be able to work fast and have an attention to detail that is second to none. Strong organisational & time management skills will also ensure you meet concurring demands from multiple areas of the business.

The FP&A function is transforming with improved systems and greater reliance on data. This role will give you incredible insight into the business, whilst being part of the transformation.

You will be working closely with the indirect functions and will be part of the team that supports important business decisions. We are looking for someone with great attitude, who likes to learn and be mentored. We will support you to succeed. If you are already familiar with forecasting, planning and analysis whilst now ready to take on more responsibility and accountability then this is the role for you.

**Qualifications**:

- Related degree in Finance and Accounting. CPA/CA qualifications desirable.
- Support and mentoring provided towards CPA qualifications

**_ KNOWLEDGE:_**
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis (essential)
- Strong data modelling and analytical skills (essential)
- Experience in Project accounting or Project based environment (desirable)

**Skills**:

- Self-motivated with a high level of organizational abilities - can manage multiple competing deadlines at any one time
- Attention to detail while ensuring on-time delivery in a fast-paced demanding environment
- Great communication/interpersonal skills
