**About the role**

You are accountable for the success and running of the renewables product portfolio across the branch network. Your success is defined by the revenue and profit growth of the portfolio and the financial return on investment of the associated assets and for executing on the specialist product strategy with in the state.
- Provide specialist advice, training and support to staff as required.
- Clearly deliver the customer value and unique selling proposition for your specialist product to the market to drive sales activity.
- Develop strong customer relationships and loyalty through understanding and anticipating customer needs & providing product solutions
- Grow the customer base by developing new markets, customers and business opportunities
- Work closely with the business development and product teams to generate lead 'pipelines' and complete quotation and tender submissions.
- Demonstrate the development of a network of potential business opportunities through membership of industry groups aligned with the product portfolio.
- Be intimately familiar with market trends and competitor activity for your category.
- Help to determine annual CAPEX requirements
- Help to procure, add depth to or retire equipment in accordance with the category strategy and within approved CAPEX budget and operational process
- Monitor portfolio performance and respond with the appropriate tactical adjustments.

**About you**
- You are driven and motivated by results with a background in technical sales.
- Experience with renewable energy products or power generation
- Experience in developing product strategy and in end to end product lifecycle management
- Experience in managing and growing products and product performance across a large portfolio
- Experience in business development activity including customer negotiations, bids and contracts
- Influences others and gains commitment through building strong, trusting relationships
- Demonstrated experience in leveraging customer insights to meet customer needs
- Maintain knowledge of all associated regulations and legislative requirements to ensure compliance
- Exceptional analysis and insights capability as a basis for recommendations and optimizing performance
