OverviewSenior Associate, Strategy & Operations, New Verticals – ANZDoorDash is looking for top talent to grow our New Verticals business in Australia and New Zealand.
This role is in a fast-paced environment, focused on driving growth and improving order quality through data-driven strategies and cross-functional collaboration.ResponsibilitiesImprove quality across our merchants, identifying delivery and customer-experience gaps using data and consumer insights.Define experiments and strategies to address gaps and drive continuous improvements (aiming for 1% better every day).
Turn strategies into initiatives; iterate rapidly to deliver better quality and impact.Monitor trends and root-cause issues with SQL and analytics; develop action plans and roll out new product features to improve order quality.Collaborate cross-functionally with account management, product, engineering, finance, analytics, and operations to scale New Verticals.Own tracking dashboards and week-over-week metrics to drive high quality and execution.Contribute to the development and scaling of DoorDash's next big initiatives, from high-level strategy to operational details.Lead, collaborate, and influence cross-functional teams including growth, quality, design, marketing, partnerships, and product.Qualifications2-3+ years of experience in analytical, cross-functional environments (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or related fields).
Self-starter with bias for action and ability to thrive in fast-paced, changing environments.Problem solver who can translate high-level goals into actionable plans and implement processes.Analytical thinker who uses data to inform decisions at both high and detailed levels.Ownership mindset with accountability for outcomes and continuous improvement.Comfort with ambiguity and startup-style adaptation.About DoorDashDoorDash is a technology and logistics company that empowers local economies.
