Job Title: Senior Social Worker – Child Protection TeamLocation: KnowsleyPay Rate: £39.45 per hourLiquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker for the Child Protection Team to join our client in Knowsley.
The role involves ensuring the needs of children, young people, and their families are identified, safeguarded, and monitored according to the Children Act, Service policies, and relevant legislation.
Responsibilities include managing and supervising child placements, as well as meeting fostering and adoption standards.Key Responsibilities:Promote the welfare and safeguarding of children, young people, and their families.Conduct timely assessments in line with regulatory requirements.Engage relevant agencies, children, and families in assessments and planning.Manage complex and varied caseloads, ensuring high-quality casework.Mentor less experienced Social Workers and co-work cases.Develop care plans reflecting the views and wishes of children and young people.Maintain high-standard case records and produce required reports.Regularly review and update plans to meet the diverse needs of children and families.Benefits:Make a Difference: Help change the lives of children and families.Great Team: Work with a supportive and collaborative team.Location: Enjoy the scenic beauty and vibrant community of Cumberland.Qualifications and Experience:Applicants must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a degree in Social Work, and have post-qualification experience.Why Liquid Personnel?
