Clemenger BBDO are looking for a curious Mid-Weight Planner/Strategist to join our high performing team in Melbourne
This opportunity will see you working across a creative and desirable patch of well-known Australian brands, on famous (VERY famous) campaigns and projects that really tap into the human psyche by way of influencing culture, which is complex, chaotic and changing.
To be successful in this role you will be a creative catalyst. You will impact not only the creative work that is on the table, but also the creative work that has yet to be conceived. You take pride in knowing that you know your clients and consumers better than they do. You LOVE going in search of problems, and finding the solutions. You will challenge your peers and your clients to think in ways they had not previously considered, uncovering insights about brands and the consumers relationships with them and using those insights to influence the way brands communicate.

**Responsibilities**:

- Use your strategic skills to help identify and articulate key issues facing client brands
- Develop inspiring creative briefs and briefings
- Work with the planning lead ensuring the strategic integrity of the work
- Understand qual and quant research including design and analysis
- Conduct consumer trend analyses and incorporate findings to help initiate and guide strategic activity
- Create, manage and grow client relationships, forging your path as a trusted advisor
- Operate independently and take the strategic lead where required

Desired Skills and Experience
- Superior writing, presentational and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships
- Stay abreast of current developments in brand planning and research design
- Attend professional conferences, seminars or conventions when appropriate or possible
- 3-4 years planning experience
- Agency experience is desired, but not essential
- Finally, we want people who can make good things happen, and are passionate about what they do
