As a key member of our technology team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the development and growth of our high-growth tech platform.A senior frontend engineer is required to lead in building and evolving modern web applications that are clean, scalable, and maintainable. This involves making architectural decisions around frameworks, tools, and libraries to ensure a future-proof frontend.The successful candidate will also be responsible for improving performance and user experience by identifying bottlenecks and optimizing caching strategies and state management. Additionally, they will act as a go-to technical leader within the squad – run code reviews, set engineering standards, and support more junior team members.Collaboration with design and product teams is essential to deliver intuitive, accessible, high-quality interfaces. The ideal candidate will stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and champion best practices to keep the product ahead of the curve.The requirements for this role include 5+ years commercial frontend engineering experience, 10+ years total in tech, and expert knowledge of React, Next, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Proven ability to architect complex frontend systems and integrate with APIs (GraphQL) is also essential. Furthermore, familiarity with AWS cloud services and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker) is necessary.A strong focus on performance, accessibility, and testing best practices is required, along with experience with component-driven development and micro-frontend approaches. Excellent communication skills and experience working in agile, cross-functional teams are also essential. Finally, a mentorship mindset with ability to raise technical standards is crucial.
