The Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service is a dedicated mental health care provider for young people aged 12-25 in Melbourne's north and west, along with their families, carers, supporters and kin.
Operating at sites across Melbourne's north and west the service is Victoria's first standalone public mental health service built exclusively around young people's needs. Every decision - from the front desk to the boardroom - centres on what young people need.
Working in partnership with Orygen the service combines world-leading research, clinical excellence and dedicated governance to deliver seamless, person-centred care. Our singular focus on youth means we're not just providing mental health care - we're reimagining how it's experienced, accessed, and delivered.
This exciting role will play a key part in this transformation. As ICT Service Delivery Manager you will be responsible for establishing, managing and continuously improving the local ICT environment to support the effective delivery of youth mental health services in the north and western metropolitan areas of Melbourne.
About The Role
Job Description:
Manage ICT operations across the service by maintaining critical systems and infrastructure, ensuring service continuity and effective clinical care delivery.
Coordinate Resolution of ICT Service Issues:
Act as the primary escalation point and collaborate closely with RMH Digital Innovation and vendors.
Liaise with Key Stakeholders:
Ensure alignment, clear communication, and effective service delivery with RMH, Orygen ICT, and external providers.
Support Post-Go-Live Configuration:
Continuously improve clinical and operational systems, ensuring alignment with youth mental health workflows and compliance standards.
Ensure ICT Compliance:
Oversee access controls, security protocols, and adherence to data privacy and governance regulations.
Contribute to Strategic Planning:
Develop the PYMHWS digital roadmap and drive innovation through system upgrades and digital capability assessments.
About You
The ideal candidate is an experienced and adaptable ICT professional with a strong background in health service delivery, capable of operating independently while engaging effectively with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure secure, responsive, and high-quality ICT services.
A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is required. Proven experience delivering ICT services in health or mental health settings is essential. Strong knowledge of clinical systems used in Victorian public health, including EMR, RiskMan, and RosterOn is necessary. Ability to manage competing priorities in a sole-operator or small-team environment is required. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all organisational levels are essential. Vendor and contract management experience, with a focus on service quality is desired. Understanding of cybersecurity and health data privacy legislation and compliance is also necessary.
