Purpose of Position:
This role is to provide research support for a variety of research activities being undertaken in the Department of Psychiatry at Westmead Hospital.
The position will support the academic staff in the Department of Psychiatry.
Qualifications:
Degree in Psychology or a qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
Registration:
Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Selection Criteria:
Ability to collect and enter data from questionnaires and manage a database.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with other health professionals.
High level of computer literacy including skills in literature searching.
Clinical research experience in bipolar disorder, early psychosis, or other severe mental illnesses would be advantageous.
