About the Role:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and driven Research Assistant to join our team. This is a remote, full-time role ideal for someone based in Australia who is passionate about the commercial property sector and thrives in an independent, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on commercial property markets across Australia, including industrial, office, and retail sectors

• Analyse sales, leasing, and development activity using online platforms, public records, and commercial databases

• Collect and interpret property data including zoning, planning, ownership, land use, yields, and rental evidence

• Assist in preparing property reports, presentations, and market summaries

• Monitor planning applications and local council updates

• Support senior staff with due diligence, property feasibility, and acquisition analysis

• Keep internal databases and CRM updated with new opportunities and contacts

• Assist with ad hoc tasks such as competitor analysis, landowner research, or tenant profiling

Requirements:

• Must be based in Australia with full working rights

• Previous experience in real estate, property research, or data analysis preferred

• Strong research and analytical skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and web-based research

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Points For:

• Experience using platforms such as CoreLogic RP Data, PriceFinder, Commercial Real Estate, REA, Real Commercial, or Property Council reports

• Familiarity with planning systems and tools (e.g., council portals, planning maps, zoning codes)

• A property-related qualification (completed or in progress)
