About the role
The purpose of the Trade Assistant role is to provide the services as needed to support the delivery of the Building Services required to maintain service delivery capability of the facilities represented. This is to be achieved through compliance with the Metro North Values, and adherence to all prescribed systems and processes.
About you
- Comply with and utilise procedures, policies, regulations, and standards which impact upon the position, including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices including Code of Conduct.
- Manage own leave balances to ensure at all times that Annual Leave entitlements held do not surpass 6 weeks of accrued leave without approval from the Manager BEMS.
- Actively participate in the annual PDP process.
- Maintain personal licences and any assigned annual training requirements, to ensure that they are always current. Complete and maintain current status in all required training including face to face and online training.
- Position will be required to work a mix of inside core hours service delivery, outside core hours delivery and rotating on call 24/7 roster to meet the requirements of the facilities.
