Family run PVC manufacturing company of Extrusion of Pipes/Building Products looking for a part time Quality Control Assistant. This role would suit a university student who is studying engineering or something similar.

Part time hours would be preferably:
Monday 6 hours

Wednesday 6 hours

Friday 6 hours

The client is flexible pending university studies; however, Monday morning work would be prefered.
- Collect, prepare, measure and record product pipe samples to relevant standards.
- Generation of Reports for Production Meetings / Quality Management.
- Utilisation of Microsoft Office products - Word / Excel / Outlook some knowledge of macros / graphs / equations of benefit
- Accurate use of Various Testing Equipment including, physical or mechanical testing, ranging from basic dimensions, checking of colour, through to compression/impact/stiffness and internal pressure systems and processes.
