Key responsibilities
Oversee the care and presentation of a high-profile, award-winning horticultural sites.
Operate modern tools and machinery, including zero-turn mowers, brush cutters, and blowers.
Perform routine tasks: mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, planting, mulching, fertilising, and pest control.
Plan daily schedules and manage team workflows to ensure safe, efficient task completion.
Complete site paperwork: pre-starts, daily reports, Take 5s, and SWMS.
Liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction and uphold a professional image.
Maintain and repair irrigation systems, including programming and fault-finding.
Monitor plant and soil health, conduct testing, and apply treatments as needed.
Assist with seasonal planting and minor design updates to keep the site looking its best.
Identify and report site improvement opportunities or concerns.
Ensure WHS procedures are followed by all team members.
Conduct site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.
Help train and mentor junior team members.
What will you need
Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens (Preferred)
Driver's licence (Manual or Automatic)
National Police Check
Working with Children Check
