The purpose of the Deposits Tribe is to provide products that are simple, easy-to-use and enable our customers to bank with confidence. We achieve this through the design, manufacture and management of a simple range of savings & transaction products to bring the customer proposition to life for our Retail & Business customers. As a Technical Business Lead (known internally as a Journey Expert - Change Management) in a dedicated project team, your squad mission will be to deliver on a technology program to support our vendor with the migration of our legacy customer communication and document services platform to a new platform solution. You will understand the different types of essential customer communications/documents produced for most products offered across the bank and their source systems, how these are received by customers, gather and capture technical/business requirements, document these requirements and associated solution architecture, co-ordinate and deliver on technical releases as well as test expected outcomes. In addition, you will assist the Product Owner in leading a team of business/technical analysts, and project administration.

What will your day look like

You will be working in a squad where you will use your experience and skills to work collaboratively with various ANZ businesses and our vendor to perform data-driven business/technical analysis and define detailed requirements, understand the technology landscape and document solution architecture and contexts.
You'll use a range of elicitation and documentation techniques (i.e. HCD Toolkit, Process Modelling, Use Cases, Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Interface Specifications etc.) to define these requirements, current and future state in business and technology environments and conduct impact, risk and scoping assessments.
You will also develop technical and business testing strategy and plans, execute on these (including creating and manipulating test data and scripts), plan and support technical releases as well as co-ordination internally of the migration activities to successfully manage and embed solution-related changes.
You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across both commercial and technology areas to ensure business and customer impacts have been fully considered and communicated to stakeholders, whilst bringing your problem-solving, technical and analytical mindset to help the bank support best practice delivery of implementing a major change.
As a project leader, you will assist the Product Owner in managing our core team as well as wider working groups as required, and drive a culture of fun and excellence. Previous Scrum Master/Agile experience will be a bonus.
You will need to perform data-driven analysis, conduct impact and risk assessments, communicate change impacts to stakeholders, conduct testing and support the end-to-end journey of implementing a major change with oversight by a Product Owner and with support of the squad.

The role will also involve some project co-ordination and administration, where you will assist the Product Owner in managing and reporting on project progress, including timelines, budget, resources and work streams, and liaising widely across the bank to ensure the program meets internal project and change governance requirements.

You will also be a part of the Change Chapter in the Deposits Tribe and you use your business analysis and technical experience to support initiatives that deliver on the end-to-end change management capability of the Tribe and support innovation and process improvement opportunities for the Change Chapter.

Strong functional experience or expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Business/Technical Analysis and Solution Architecture, Test Management and Execution (with expertise on testing methodologies, automation, scripting and testing practices), Software Development, Technical Business or Solution Analysis, and/or Technical Project Management/
