The Haematology unit is seeking to appoint clinical and / or laboratory Staff Specialists to temporarily vacant positions.

Available immediately, for an initial period of 6 months : 0.4 lab and 0.1 clinical; and available before the end of 2025 a further fractional total of 1.4 clinical FTE for an initial period of 3 months.
All positions may be extended.
Minimum laboratory appointments are 0.2 FTE (including any current appointment); minimum clinical appointments are 0.1 FTE.Clinical role :This role provides specialist Haematology clinical care to patients and assumes overall responsibility for patient care.Services includeProvides specialist services at Metro South Hospital and Health Service, which includes other facilities located across Metro South Health including satellite clinics.Provides inpatient care, including participating in the on-call rosterLaboratory role :Provides specialist laboratory haematology expertise (laboratory reporting of films, marrows, flow cytometry, quality improvement activities)Find out about the role in more detail and how to apply in the attached Role Description.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence , shape our culture within Metro South Health.
