Expert Insurance Lawyer Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated solicitor to join our high-performing team in Sydney or Canberra.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of matters and services including; defendant insurance, personal injury claims to more complex and catastrophic claims. Our expertise lies in effectively managing high-volume and intricate disputes, offering tailored solutions to insurers.
This varied role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to be heavily involved in all aspects of the above matters, allowing you to make a significant contribution to their outcome. You will work as part of a close-knit team which boasts a collegiate, supportive and collaborative culture, making it the perfect environment for you to enhance your legal career while gaining exposure to high-value and complex matters.
About The Role
Prior exposure to and a strong interest in insurance law is required.
A background in defendant matters would be advantageous.
Excellent researching and drafting skills are essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Firmly established time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively are necessary.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Demonstrates an understanding of the legal issues relevant to the practice of insurance law.
An eye for technical detail but also the ability to provide legal advice in a commercial context is required.
Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels of seniority is essential.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment is necessary.
Time management skills and proven ability to prioritise multiple active matters at any one time are essential.
