**What's your purpose and impact?**

The Store Operations Support is responsible for organising and managing the delivery of maintenance services across the City Beach Retail store, Head Office, and Distribution Centre networks.

Reporting to the Head of Store Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all maintenance needs are met with efficiency and to standards, whilst also maintaining a continuous improvement mind-set towards procurement, contractor management, and regulatory compliance.

**What do you need to be able to do?**:

- Manage maintenance requests and orders for stationery and security equipment in accordance with set Service Level Agreements.
- Take a proactive approach to monitoring the delivery of goods and services, following up with suppliers as required to ensure adherence with agreed standards of price, time, quality and quantity, and escalate non-compliance issues to the Head of Store Operations.
- Schedule planned maintenance and other services in consideration of priority levels and store operating hours to ensure mínimal impact to business operations and wage compliance.
- Inform managers about work being carried out that may affect their working environment.
- Ensure compliance with Australian workplace safety standards by coordinating regular inspections, tests and services of fire equipment and specified electrical equipment and switches by an accredited professional.
- Develop and review procurement processes to facilitate and improve business performance and ensure City Beach obtains best value for expenditure on goods and services.
- Identify and critically assess spending trends, and proactively seek and recommend ways to mitigate over-expenditure.
- Establish and rationalise key supplier contracts and identify and assess opportunities for new contracts and arrangements that will better suit business needs and achieve cost efficiencies.
- Negotiate and manage contract terms with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms.
- Undertake contract administration functions and record-keeping, which includes validation of legal and contractual insurance requirements and registration/qualification certificates, as well as obtaining Workplace Health and Safety documents.
- Ensure that all invoices and purchase orders are entered accurately and audited for compliance with contract terms.
- Manage site and department budgets.
- Complete ad-hoc administration requests, including printing and despatching documents to stores and head office in line with set shipping schedules.
- Provide a back-up support to the Warehouse Coordinator when necessary.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and projects relating to store operations, procurement and maintenance practices and procedures.
- Support the Head of Store Operations in planning and coordinating store openings, closures, and refurbishments.
- Train and develop retail store, head office and distribution centre team members in facilities and equipment policies and procedures
- Required to step into the role of Head of Store Operations in their absence or as requested.
