Respect Aged Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Care Coordinator to join our team in our Alcheringa facility in Swan Hill, VIC.

Respect also hashome care servicesin multiple states, and more than 700 units in differentretirement villages and independent living communities.Key Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and implement lifestyle and social care programs tailored to individual resident needsFoster a supportive and engaging environment through meaningful activities and therapeutic servicesBuild positive relationships with residents, families, and the wider communityMaintain accurate documentation and contribute to care planningWork collaboratively with the broader care team to promote holistic wellbeingEssential Requirements:Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle/Diploma in Leisure and Health(or ability/willingness to obtain)First Aid Certificate.Proficient computer systems and information management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamUnderstanding of the aged care quality standards and person-centred care principlesNational Police Check and relevant working rights in AustraliaDesirable Requirements:Experience in the provision of complementary therapies and recreational servicesDemonstrated experience in dementia careExperience in residential aged care settingsKnowledge of and connections with local community groups and support agenciesWhy Respect Aged Care?
