Job Title: Senior Leadership Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Associate Director in our Commercial Transactions and Advisory team. As an integral member of our team, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-impact commercial projects and strategic transactions across NSW Government.
You will lead cross-functional teams, navigating complex stakeholder relationships and utilising your excellent strategic thinking and negotiation skills to facilitate diverse perspectives, manage complexity and influence others to understand new approaches and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Leadership:
Proven success in delivering complex commercial projects in a public sector or similarly complex environment.
Strategic Thinking & Analysis:
Providing authoritative advice with consideration given to risks, probity, precedents, and analysis of information collected from a range of sources, including legal, financial, and economic.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Navigating organisational processes, including Ministerial engagement, combined with strong leadership skills and the ability to drive performance in a complex, politically and commercially sensitive environment.
Project Delivery:
Proven experience structuring and delivering large, complex commercial projects, including leading, planning, budgeting, monitoring, and managing internal teams and external consultants.
Executive Leadership:
Delivering specialist and authoritative advice to executive leadership and Ministers.
