Our Water team in Australia boasts a remarkable portfolio of successful major projects, positively impacting communities nationwide.
We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to collaborate with our diverse network of water specialists.
About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in designing and developing electrical systems for engineering projects within our Water Division.
You will work under the direction of the Water Infrastructure Group Leader, leading a small team of Electrical Engineers.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive electrical engineering design including modeling, drawings, calculations, reports, and design criteria.
Analyze and design electrical systems using company-standard software and proprietary manufacturer tools.
Assist in evaluating and selecting electrical systems and materials, and developing electrical specifications.
Contribute to the development of electrical systems through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and visual formats.
Prepare electrical engineering documents, including construction specifications, plans, and schedules.
Identify and address technical problems promptly.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Engineering with an emphasis on Electrical.
Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar position, with well-rounded experience in Water and Wastewater projects.
Knowledge and experience in LV and MV power systems in Australia.
Proficiency in CAD and power engineering software tools.
Hold CPEng and RPEQ status.
Excellent people management skills.
