Reporting to Rebuilds Senior Supervisor, the **Workshop Supervisor Electrical** is responsible for leading the assigned shift execution team by providing guidance to team members ensuring safety, quality and efficiency are of the highest standard, resulting in high customer satisfaction.

The role is accountable for the daily management of team members, effective work order management, and ensuring high compliance to plan (schedules) to achieve WesTrac's targets of productivity (e.g., flat rate, technician productivity targets, WIP management), job quality (e.g., rework) and compliance to Caterpillar and Customer requirements at a shift level.

This is achieved by demonstrating effective leadership across the shift the supervisor is allocated, which includes WesTrac trades, non-trade persons and contractors, across all aspects of safety, oversight, training, coaching, work order management and resource and task allocation.

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Strong experience in a similar role or technical environment
- Highly developed communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal)
- Demonstrated highly developed customer service skills with an understanding as to the importance of effective Customer Management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to enable effective resolution of issues within the workplace and/or customer disputes
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously. Adaptability including the ability to perform efficiently in different environments and with diverse tasks and people
- Intermediate computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office)

**Desirable**:

- Australian recognised Trade Certificate - Automotive electrical.
- Caterpillar Systems, Parts and Product Knowledge
- Front line Customer service roles within the mining, construction, and heavy equipment industry
