Part-time contract opportunity for a site systems specialist with a global mining organisation

**Your new company**

Hays are excited to partner with a tier one mining operator within Queensland's Coal Mining industry, currently seeking a Site Systems Specialist focusing on learning management.

**Your new role**

As a Site Systems Specialist, you will focus on effective learning management to ensure compliance to legislative and business requirements. This is a Brisbane-based part-time role with the required days being Monday - Wednesday. You will work back to back with another part-time position to ensure full coverage of all required duties within the role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor, govern, and continuously improve the Site Training Scheme to meet legislative and business requirements.
- Work collaboratively with departments to ensure compliance and continuous improvement of the site Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
- Govern and support the development of site training packages (inclusive of eLearning packages)
- Coordinate critical skills training relevant across multiple departments
- Administrate training uploads to the learning management system and ensure compliance to the Training Governance Framework
- Monitor effectiveness of learning related document management
- Identify opportunities, utilise problem-solving tools and create and manage improvement projects to completion

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience with learning management systems
- Computer literacy with intermediate level in MS Office
- Sound communication skills and a proven ability to engage and build relationships across multiple layers of the organisation.
- Experience and understanding of SuccessFactors LMS or similar learning management systems
- Organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in Training Needs Analysis
- Good problem-solving skills (strong analysis, judgement, and decision-making skills with attention to detail) along with the ability to identify and recommend improvements.
- Exposure to audit processes and governance frameworks.
- Understanding of change management
