Our client is a leading Malting company with a rich history and a global presence. Committed to sustainability and innovation, we take pride in being a critical part of the beer making process. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a driven Production Manager to play a key role in our success.

**Your new role**

Lead and oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Manage and motivate a skilled production team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and employee development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise production processes and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Monitor and analyse production performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans to achieve production targets.
- Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and fostering a safe work environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure proper maintenance and functionality of production equipment.
- Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements, contributing to the company's overall growth and profitability.

**What you'll need to succeed**

As a Production Manager you will be experienced in a manufacturing environment, preferably with an HACCP environment. Other qualifications and experience includes:

- Degree in Science/Engineering/Food & Beverage processing related discipline
- Experience in the dairy/food/FMCG or a GMP environment
- Team management experience
- Technical and analytical skills in terms of running a production facility
