We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot and service a wide variety of packaging machinery throughout Queensland and New South Wales. Experience with bagging, palletising and conveyor systems would be highly valued, however if you are a fitter/electrician who has experience with working autonomously in a manufacturing environment we want to hear from you

Your day-to-day duties include (but are not limited to):

- Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Perform breakdown and regular servicing of packaging machinery and bulk handling solutions.
- User operation training where required
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Produce timely and accurate service reports.

In order to thrive in this role, the successful applicant will possess:

- Trade or tertiary qualifications in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
- Previous packaging/manufacturing machinery experience a distinct advantage
- A working knowledge of PLC operation and/or programming
- Proven ability to work autonomously and organise own work
- An understanding of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic aspects of process machines.
- High-level fault finding/troubleshooting skills
- A strong eye for detail and a determination to do it right the first time.
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
