**About the role**

We're seeking an experienced Head of People & Culture (Head of P&C) who is aligned to our purpose and values, and who will put our members' needs first. We're looking for someone who has an operational excellence mindset and with a desire to support innovation. Reporting to the Chief Officer, People and Culture, the role provides business partnership to the Chief Operating Officer.

You will lead a team comprised of P&C Business Partners, Work Health and Safety, Policy and Governance; Performance and Reward specialists to ensure that our leaders and employees receive the best possible value from our people programs, so that we can provide outstanding service and uncommon care to our members.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Tertiary level qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, Adult Education, Business, or related discipline.
- 10+ years in a Senior HR Management role, supporting senior leadership teams in a generalist capacity.
- Experience with dealing with complex business, people and culture issues, demonstrating your ability to think critically, and respond adaptively.
- Broad experience with co-designing and driving the execution of people strategy, including organization and job design; change management, remuneration, employee relations and employee value proposition.
- Proven policy development and strategic advisory skills, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and the regulatory environment.
- Proficiency in analysing complex risks and managing them proactively.
- Highly competent investigative and analytical skills to derive solutions to complex people and legal issues.
- Strong operational, budget, people, process management, risk identification, and control skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to research, synthesize data, write and present reports for a range of audiences, including Executive and Board papers.
- Highly effective, engaging, and collaborative leadership and management style.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and influence at all levels
- Agile and adaptive work style when timelines and priorities change.
