**Your Role**

We are looking for a talented individual to join our Product, Pricing & Governance team within our Retail Insurance Australia (RIA) Division.

As an Operational Risk Consultant, you'll be part of the team that's responsible to drive efficient and effective management of operational risk within RIA. This involves risk event triaging, control testing, risk profiling and reporting along with being a visible advocate for driving risk maturity uplift and improvement in the operational risk culture within the divisions.

A critical success factor for the role is the ability to engage broadly and communicate effectively within IAG to influence a practical understanding of operational risk.

**About You**
- Experience in general insurance or financial services, with exposure to risk management or compliance
- Demonstrated ability to identify design and execution of controls are adequate and effective in mitigating risks, including the establishment of a robust control environment
- Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine the root cause of organisational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve the problems in the best interest of the business
- Experience in incident management oversight and supporting business owners to respond to investigating, managing and resolving incidents including escalations
- Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business
- Exposure in ServiceNow management system and Enterprise Risk Management
