Contract - 12+ months long term preferredPay: From $40 per hour depending on experience (Contract with leave and super)A professional and loving family who are relocating to the South Yarra Area of Melbourne, VIC are seeking a highly experienced and responsible career nanny.The nanny will be responsible for caring for their little boy (6 months old) from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day, and also the eldest child (3-year-old girl) from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.Note: The 3-year-old girl will be at ELC 3 days per week and have her own nanny when not at school (who works 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
The days and normal hours are - 5 days per weekMonday to Friday 8 AM - 6 PM.If willing, the family will value someone who could occasionally do evenings, weekends, or overnights.The family is seeking a nanny who is engaging, fun to be around, but also nurturing, calm, and patient.A nanny who can structure their day, be independent, design new routines, and provide fun, creative, and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities that will assist in the child's development.
Looking for a nanny that genuinely loves their job as a career nanny and is able to provide exceptional care and support for the family.A nanny who also values children's safety, is trustworthy, reliable, punctual, adaptive, can problem-solve, communicate, and is able to form a special bond with the whole family and stay on a long-term basis.The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows -To care for the childrenFollow the children's routinePlay and engage with the childrenTake the baby to activities, i.e., playground, walks, and to the park/playgroundsHelp prep/cook meals for the baby and introduce to solidsHomework assistance for the 3-year-old.The family's expectations from their nanny are -Must have a minimum of 5+ years nanny or childcare experienceHave a current first aid certificateHave a current Working with Children's CheckDisplay strong communication skills and speak EnglishChild safety practicesBasic knowledge of food prep/cooking meals
