**Title**:
Warehouse Supervisor

**Job Purpose**:
The role of the Warehouse Supervisor is to direct receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of clinical related products and temperature controlled shipments.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manage warehouse in compliance with company's policies, vision, GDP and safety requirements
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, packing and maintenance operations
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintain standards of health, safety, hygiene and security in accordance to company policy
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies as necessary
- Work collaboratively within our Marken branch network nationally and internationally to continually provide quality service to our clients
- Ensure that systems are used as defined and updated with accurate, complete and timely information
- Ensure that communication within the team and with the branch and network is done in a proper and timely manner to enable other job functions to perform
- Lead, orient, coach and motivate employees
- Produce necessary reports as required
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience leading a Warehouse/Distribution operation
- Experience with airfreight operations, import/export operations and related regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of IATA regulations, including Transportation of Dangerous Goods (if applicable)
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively manage staff
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with temperature controlled shipments
