As they continue to grow and evolve, they are seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Test Environment Manager initially joining on a maternity cover contract.
**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage and maintain test environments to support the testing needs of multiple projects.
- Coordinate with project teams, development teams, and other stakeholders to understand environment requirements and schedule environment allocations accordingly.
- Experience working on Test Data Management
- Monitor and manage environment configurations, ensuring consistency and reliability across different environments.
- Implement and enforce environment management best practices and processes.
- Troubleshoot environment-related issues and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
- Plan and execute environment refreshes, upgrades, and patching activities.
- Provide regular status updates and reports on environment availability, utilization, and performance.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in test environment management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Experience with environment provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies used in environment management and configuration management (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in environment management or related fields is a plus.

Contract role paying up to $1100p/day + super, initially joining on a maternity cover basis with a view to extensions or permanency if the opportunity arises.
This is Sydney based and you would be expected to be in the office two days a week.
