Rest is one of Australia's largest profit-to-member superannuation funds, established in 1988. We support nearly two million members with around $86 billion of funds under management and are recognised as a responsible investment leader. We believe when members understand and engage with their super, they're more likely to get a better retirement outcome.
Everything we do at Rest is underpinned by our values and behaviours: Be Daring, Keep it Simple, Take Action and Have Grit. To put it simply we want our people to thrive and love the work they do.
The Test Environment and Release Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of code, configuration, and infrastructure releases within the Rest organisation. This also includes overseeing third-party vendor integrations, where Rest has significant dependencies on vendors like MUFG, TAL, and KPMG amongst others for Environment delivery (commissioning, Support and maintenance) as well as Code and Configuration Release Management. Additionally, the manager is responsible for the coordination and management of Code Deployments and subsequent configuration and management of the Integrated Non-Production test environments that support development, testing, and deployment activities.
This role demands close collaboration with both Rest's internal Technology, Operations Support and Business teams as well as collaboration and management of external vendor teams to ensure adherence to best practices in Configuration and Release Management as well as Environment Management.
A key responsibility of this role is to establish and maintain a governance framework for configuration deployment and release management.
The role also involves monitoring and providing regular reports on the health of non-production environments, as well as managing the regular environment refresh cadence.
