Commercial Manager - Defence (6-Month Contract)

**The Opportunity**:
KBR is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support a confidential Defence project.

**This is a**full-time fixed term position** for six (6) months, based in Canberra. Interstate applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and manage commercial strategies to support the tendering process.
- Prepare and review RFT documentation to ensure compliance with Defence procurement requirements.
- Evaluate commercial aspects of bid responses, ensuring alignment with project goals and financial objectives.
- Provide expert commercial advice to the project team and stakeholders.
- Ensure all commercial and contractual risks are effectively managed.

**Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge**
- Experience in commercial management, contract negotiation, and procurement within a Defence setting.
- Strong knowledge of ASDEFCON, Defence procurement frameworks and RFT processes
- Ability to review, interpret, and assess commercial and financial aspects of tender responses.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- An active NV1 security clearance (essential).
