**About the role**:
Melbourne Airport Rail is a transformational public transport project connecting Melbourne Airport to Victoria's regional and metropolitan train network. The Sunshine Systems Alliance (SSA) which involves John Holland, CPB Contractors,

AECOM, KBR, Alstom, Metro Trains Melbourne, V/Line and Rail Projects Victoria will deliver one of the project's largest works packages. The SSA will help transform Sunshine station into a transport superhub and will construct a new flyover

at Albion to separate airport trains from metropolitan and regional services. The package also includes high capacity signalling, traction power, rail control systems and an automatic train supervision system, as well as communications

systems and systems integration and assurance

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Develop and define the project's T&C strategy and associated sub T&C Plans
- Implementation of the overall testing and commissioning process
- Maintain framework and controls for T&C, covering factory acceptance tests, site installation tests, site acceptance tests and integrated tests to ensure that individual systems and the interfaces between different systems are systematically tested, commissioned, and integrated.
- Ensure that work performed is completed to quality, cost and program requirements
- Lead the preparation of T&C
- Lead the detailed implementation arrangements for T&C activities to ensure approved procedures and methods of work are applied correctly.
- Lead the preparation of T&C and related engineering Plans and Acceptance Test documentation and test executions on site.
- Monitors follow up actions through to closure of all non-compliances identified during T&C activities
- Ensure a common and integrated approach to T&C documentation (test plans, test specifications, records of testing, and certificates, etc) is achieved.
- Lead presentations and meetings providing T&C data and progress to various key stakeholders.
- Lead T&C progress reporting and escalation activities

**What we are looking for**:

- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience working within a large-scale multi-disciplinary environment, with hands-on experience in Testing & Commissioning in a railway environment.
- Working knowledge in T&C undertaken on railway projects, across multiple systems and sub-systems to achieve an integrated railway.
- High level of technical competency and understanding in a complex engineering environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong supervisory and interpretation skills.
- Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills.
