**About the role**

As a Horticulture/Parks and Gardens Apprentice, you will be learning how to correctly identify plants, measure PH levels of soil, as well as perform outdoor maintenance such as trimming, mowing, weeding, planting, and undertake general land maintenance for Government in West Footscray.

**About you**
- Physically fit and self-motivated
- Eager to work outdoors with extensive variety of work sites, horticultural jobs and projects
- Strong team mentality with an attitude of helping others
- Positive attitude towards working full-time and gaining a nationally recognised qualification
- Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- A desire for excellence
- Consistently reliable and punctual at all times
- Commitment and dedication to TAFE studies
