Advanced Disability and Aged Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Mandarin-speaking Support Worker to assist NDIS participants in the Wollongong area. This casual role focuses on supporting clients to engage in meaningful community-based activities and develop greater independence and social inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

Support NDIS participants to attend community outings, appointments, hobbies, and social events.

Encourage independence and participation in daily living and recreational activities.

Communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English.

Build trusted, respectful relationships with clients and their families.

Document supports provided and report on participant progress and wellbeing.
Essential Requirements

Fluency in Mandarin and English.

Experience in disability, aged care, or community support roles (NDIS experience desirable).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Current Driver's Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.

Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Legal working rights in Australia.
