Due to an internal move, an exciting opportunity has become available for a talented Commercial Analyst:
The Commercial Analyst is a key support role partnering directly with the Marketing team. You will be the finance smarts helping the team achieve their strategic business objectives. This role will provide accurate and insightful decision support, analysis, planning and reporting to support stakeholders in achieving their strategic ambitions. Working closely with retail brands you will have a key focus on helping deliver initiatives through this exciting time of growth.

**Role & Responsibility**

Working closely with the General Manager Finance, your key responsibilities will include:

- Work alongside an enthusiastic manager focused on team growth and staff development
- Truly business partner key business stakeholders, particularly the marketing team
- Drive business growth through ad hoc analysis as required
- Scenario modelling of new opportunities to challenge the norm
- Present information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Provide weekly reporting and commentary
- Conduct variance analysis with a focus on the 'why'
- Support the team with stakeholder queries
- Challenge forecasts with the identification of risks and opportunities
- Work with the finance team and business partners on budget requirements
- Deliver efficiencies through process improvements

**Profile**

To be successful in this role, the following experience is desirable:

- 3+ years finance experience
- CA / CPA Qualified
- Good systems skills (SAP ERP, BI & Google sheets used)
- Curious by nature with a can-do attitude
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication to liaise with a broad audience
- FMCG or Retail experience desirable
