**Job Description**:
As our new Supervisor you will be responsible for the overall supervision and direction of the shift production team who process and recycle steel drums from return of used goods, to end product, and sold back out to the market.
Reporting to the Production Manager you will be a key member of the site leadership team and therefore responsible for the sites' overall success. Self-driven with a strong ability to "get things done" safely and effectively, you will uplift capability across the team to ensure and embed a culture of continuous improvement whilst maintaining the highest safety standards
**Your key responsibilities are not limited to but include**:
- Ensure that ALL work is carried out in a safe working manner
- Co-ordinate and facilitate induction for new starters
- Coordinate and deliver training and assist with assessment as required
- Manage production and planning during the shift including resourcing (labour)
- Management and direction of production staff during the shift
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of key Operations reports (QC/NCR and Safety etc)
- Work closely with Production and Quality teams to troubleshoot issues and maintain plant production capability

- Visible belief and demonstrated leadership in driving a Zero Harm culture
- Working background in manufacturing or heavy industrial environment (Waste management / Foundry /Water Treatment)
- "Hands On" approach with willingness to deliver outcomes
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Proven people leadership across all levels, with a collaborative and enabling approach.
- Experience managing team and creating positive and productive culture
- Outcome focused with the ability to balance production, safety, and resources
