Infrastructure Maintenance | Fixed Plant Mechanical ManagerApply now Job no: 493769Work type: Full timeLocation: Western AustraliaCategories: ManagementAbout the Role:Reporting to the Infrastructure General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Mechanical Maintenance division by providing leadership to a high performing operational team to ensure safety, quality and efficiency are of the highest standard.You will oversee the supply of fixed plant maintenance personnel for rostered maintenance teams within the Mechanical area whilst ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction is maintained.Additionally this role will involve business development within the WA, SA & NT region with existing & new lead generation.This is a Full-Time position based at our Perth Airport head office, occasional travel to our clients sites.This is an interesting role where you will work across a diverse & complex scope of work to give you the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects & services.What will I be involved with?
Managing and retaining relationships, with a strong focus on generating leads and contacting prospective customers across WA, SA & NT.Business development by writing business proposals and negotiating with existing and new customersMotivating and managing internal operational staffOversee the supply of Mechanical trades for various maintenance teamsDeveloping growth strategies, plans and opportunities in target marketsAttending face to face, video conferences and events with clientsPromoting a proactive and safety focused cultureIdentifying and mapping business strengths and customer needsManage budgets, P&L, and performance metrics to ensure profitability and sustainabilityDrafting and reviewing supplier agreementsReporting on successes and areas needing improvementsAdhering to company policies, procedures whilst enhancing the Mader brand.Conduct on-site visits with customers and employee engagementEmbracing the Mader Culture by ensuring your teams are well looked after – Our employees are #1We pride ourselves to the culture we have created to be people focused & ensure the best outcomes are for all involved in creating long-term careers for our team.What makes Mader different?

A strong background in a similar role within Fixed Plant Maintenance / Infrastructure Maintenance or supply services companiesUnderstanding of the mining sector with well-established existing relationshipsMechanical Trade BackgroundOutstanding customer relations and people management skillsEnthusiastic to win new business, build on relationships and execute plansExcellent organisational and interpersonal skillsHigh-level communication and negotiating skillsExperience in budgeting & invoicing managementAdvanced Microsoft Office literacyIf you think you have what it takes, you may not tick all the boxes – we encourage you to still apply
